Presidents Report & Business

Jeff is looking into available space at the July 16-17 Greenberg show or teaming with Division two for setting up at the show. Meetings at Vanadium Woods are working okay, but discussions continue on a meeting day convenient for most members. Future meeting may still be held at Castle Shannon and/or Mt. Lebanon to keep our options open. A possible setup at Vanadium is being considered.

Treasurers Report:

Treasurer Dave Bodnar did not attend but Jeff said that the treasury is in decent shape and perhaps we might consider lowering dues next year.

Program:

Bud, Warren, Kent, Jeff and most attendees had something to contribute to the discussion of building rock formations. Ceiling tile stacked and wire brushed, plaster impregnated gauze, dry wall mud, Sculptamold and hot knife cut Styrofoam were among the methods demonstrated or discussed.

Ideas for future demonstrations were discussed including: Trestles, bridges, painted background, kits and kit bashing, painting and weathering, hand laying rail, DCC and layout photography, were among those proposed.
