SHMRRC Minutes for the Monthly Meeting

The meeting was held at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, President Jeff Graybill presiding.

Presidents Report:

The August 29th work session was extremely successful.  Most of the modules were completed to meet FreeMo Standards and add an auxiliary line. The work went smoothly.  For anyone who hasn’t completely updated his module there will be another work session on October 10th starting at 9:00 am at the Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church. 

 

Jeff received a letter from the Garden Railroad Club stating that they are discontinuing their club and sent the SHMRRC a check for $300. This amount will be reflected in next month’s treasurer’s report.

 

Jeff purchased a new controller for the Digitrax system for $200.  This amount will be reflected in this month’s treasurer’s report.

 

The December 5th show for the Mt. Lebanon Merchants Appreciation Day will work out.  Dave Maynard volunteered to make two trips in order to bring one of the large corner sections in addition to his two modules. 

 

Discussions and decisions will need to be made to transport and set up for the Science Center Locomotion Weekend on January 16th and 17th, 2027.

 

Lane Wiley returned the two modules that he had.

 

There is no information on the Greenberg Train Show in November.

 

Treasurers Report:

Total funds are $5880.05 with $490.00 cash on hand and $5,390.05 in checking.

 

Program:

Dave Damp showed some items that he purchased at the TCA Show in Washington, PA.

 

Next Meeting:

The next SHMRRC meeting will be at the Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church at 7:00 pm on October 27, 2026.
